Medical Assistant

UThrive Health is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in New Port Richey. This is an in-person role that blends clinical and front-office responsibilities, requiring strong focus, initiative, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is licensed as a Medical Assistant and thrives in a patient-centered environment. New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming experience Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and accuracy Schedule and confirm patient appointments Perform and monitor Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) sessions (training provided if needed) Support providers with clinical tasks and general patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation Handle daily front desk operations, including patient intake and forms Assist with other medical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant license or certification strongly preferred Previous medical office or front desk experience a plus Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized Strong communication skills—comfortable interacting with patients and staff Dependable, proactive, and not passive in problem-solving Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a busy environment
