Responsibilities:

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering and referring inquiries. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records including insurance verification, confirmation of scanned documents (Notes, Rx, Op Reports, Medical Records and Referrals). Maintaining and updating patient information charts. Tracking patients status (no show, in lobby, cancelled appointment...). Maintain work area and lobby in neat and orderly fashion including patient restroom. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information adhering to strict HIPPA guidelines and regulations. Steps in for medical assistant when needed. Verifying insurance, copayments and so on. Responsible, well-coordinated and reliable. More information about the job will be provided at the interview.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical customer service, front desk service, or other related medical fields Ability to build rapport with guests Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to input data and type at a quick pace.
