Flexible - Day and Evening Availability Required Position Summary CMVC Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to join our growing Allied Health team. The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, committed to excellence in education, and flexible in supporting the scheduling needs of the program. The Medical Assistant Instructor will provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction while preparing students for successful careers in healthcare. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including day and evening classes as needed. Essential Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in the Medical Assistant program. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and industry standards. Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback. Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records. Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student retention and success. Monitor student progress and provide academic support when needed. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and campus events. Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and accrediting agency requirements. Assist with program improvement initiatives and accreditation activities. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or related healthcare discipline. Minimum of three years of recent clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. Prior teaching or training experience preferred. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with technology and learning management systems. Schedule Requirements Must be flexible and available to teach day and/or evening courses. Ability to adjust schedule based on student enrollment and program needs. Occasional participation in campus events, orientations, and student activities.
