  • What You'll Do
  • Clinical Responsibilities
  • + Prepare patients for orthopedic exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion + Record vital signs, patient history, and clinical information in the EMR + Assist providers with orthopedic procedures, exams, and treatments + Apply/remove splints and braces and assist with casting when needed + Administer medications and injections (if certified) + Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection + Maintain clean, organized, and safe exam rooms •Administrative & Team Support•+ Support scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow as needed + Float between clinic locations within Ocala (travel schedule provided in advance) + Cross-train with multiple providers to broaden clinical experience + Ensure OSHA compliance and clinic safety standards + Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and care teams •What We're Looking For•+ Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA) + Current CPR Certification + Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program + Minimum 1 year of CMA experience required (3+ years preferred) + Orthopedic or casting experience preferred + Epic EMR experience preferred + Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between Ocala clinic locations as needed + Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills + Adaptable, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment •Compensation & Benefits•$18•$23/hour based on experience •
