Florida Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a dependable, patient-focused team member to support our providers and deliver a high-quality patient experience. In this role, you will gain hands-on clinical experience while supporting patient care, assisting with procedures, and helping ensure smooth clinic flow. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and is looking for long-term growth in orthopedics. Compensation $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, certification, and relevant clinical background. What You'll Do Support providers with daily clinical operations, including patient intake, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures such as injections, dressing changes, and suture/staple removal. Prepare and manage patient charts in Athena, ensuring all labs, imaging, referrals, and documentation are complete and accurate. Escort patients through their visit, provide education on care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions, and ensure a positive patient experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment, including proper handling of medical supplies and biohazard materials. Complete required documentation, including EMR updates, lab results, and workers' compensation forms (e.g., DWC25), accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with patients and team members, responding to calls, messages, and supporting overall clinic flow in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.
