Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within our facility, which operates as a Obgyn. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient service to ensure optimal care for our patients. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions. Updating chart with labs. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the clinical environment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and systems relevant to patient care. Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and care. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and documentation. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.
