Job Title:
Certified Medical Assistant Pay:
$17.00 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience, certification, and relevant outpatient medical office background.

Palm Coast, FL Edgewater, FL Cape Coral, FL St. Augustine, FL Gainesville, FL Job Summary SunState Health Staffing is currently recruiting Certified Medical Assistants for outpatient primary care office opportunities in Florida. These opportunities are with a long-established Florida medical group that has been serving patients for many years and has grown across multiple communities while keeping a local, patient-focused approach to care. We are looking for Certified Medical Assistants with at least 3 years of experience in an outpatient medical practice, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, senior-focused primary care, geriatric care, or Medicare Advantage clinic settings. The Certified Medical Assistant will support providers and office staff with daily patient care and clinical workflow in a fast-paced outpatient medical office setting. Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Take and record vital signs Review and update patient medical history Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Assist providers during patient visits and basic in-office procedures Perform EKGs Administer injections as directed Assist with phlebotomy and lab collection when applicable Perform urine testing and basic in-office testing Update patient information accurately in the EMR system Support front and back office workflow as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Required Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification required Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient medical office or clinic required Experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, senior-focused primary care, geriatric care, or Medicare Advantage clinic settings preferred Comfortable with patient rooming, vitals, injections, EKGs, urine testing, and EMR documentation Strong communication skills and a professional, patient-focused attitude Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced outpatient practice

$18.00 - $22.50 per hour
