In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care for our primary care patients. Your expertise will help ensure smooth clinical operations, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a medical setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and overall healthcare quality. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently and accurately Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Support physicians and nurses with medication administration, sample collection, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) during emergencies Perform clinical tasks such as drawing blood, performing EKGs, and assisting with IV placements in our clinic. Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, ICD coding for diagnoses, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Conduct routine assessments of physiology and anatomy knowledge to support accurate patient evaluations Manage medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient follow-up Experience Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in diverse healthcare environments. Hands-on experience with EHR systems. Knowledge of medical terminology related to internal medicine.
