Pembroke Pines, FL Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Spanish Customer communication English Full Job Description We are looking for a full-time medical assistant in a busy Internal Medicine office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history and medication list Update medical records and HEDIS measures Take vitals and perform EKGs or Holters Assist during medical examinations Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Call patient to give results Occasionally take calls for sick patients and when refills are needed Occasionally fill out forms for medication prior authorization and diabetic supplies Skills Fluent in English and Spanish required Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Experience with EMR software, E-clinical Works preferred Salary based on experience.

From $18.00 per hour
