Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a seamless check-in process Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and assisting with basic diagnostic tests. Support physicians with clinical tasks like medication administration. Maintain detailed medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and coding standards such as ICD codes Assist with rooming patients, updating medical histories, and explaining treatment plans to promote patient understanding and comfort. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care Familiarity with E-Clinical works preferred and ICD coding for efficient documentation and billing processes. Strong communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physically demanding tasks, and adapt quickly in high-pressure situations
