Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team for a Part-Time position at our office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical procedures and patient care, with a focus on providing exceptional service in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing the patient experience through effective communication and clinical support. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and preparing patients for X-Ray or other diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide support in various specialties including dermatology, geriatrics, and medical-surgical care. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention while promoting a positive patient service experience. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment. Uphold basic life support protocols in emergency situations as needed. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for effective patient care. Experience in outpatient settings preferred; familiarity with inpatient care is a plus. Previous exposure to X-Ray procedures or similar diagnostic techniques is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on patient interaction and service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
