The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within diverse clinical settings. Our 3 offices locations are: Coral Springs, Plantation, and Ft. Lauderdale. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations, delivering high-quality patient service, and supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care. This position offers an opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary environments providing neurology, rheumatology, psychiatry, neuropsychology, physical/occupational therapy, and infusion services. This position is ideal for students interested in medical, nursing, APRN, or PA school. The opportunity for you to learn and our interest in teaching provide the perfect setting for students in preparation for a life long career in medicine.
Full Time:
4-5 days per week (No weekends)Part Time:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (with option for additional weekdays) Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories, documenting symptoms, and reconciling patient medications Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision. Manage electronic health records (EHR/eClinical Works) systems efficiently to document patient information. Assist with outpatient care activities across various specialties. Monitor clinical supplies inventory, maintain clean and stocked examination rooms, and ensure compliance with safety protocols aligned with clinic standards. Support providers during skin biopsy procedures when necessary. Qualifications Reliability is an absolute must. Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is desirable, but not required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medications. Proficiency with EHR systems. Demonstrated ability to perform and document clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, intake procedures, accurate histories, and medications. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient service delivery across diverse populations.
