Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as vital signs and prescription refills
• Administer medications and injections under the direction of a physician
• Handle medical instruments and equipment with care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
• Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort
• Perform medical administrative tasks as needed such as labor inductions, IUD ordering
• Schedule patients for appointments and scan paperwork

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is required
• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
• Experience with medication administration and patient care
• Ability to accurately record and report patient information
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
