Description:
Medical Assistant Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support our residents' healthcare needs. Join our compassionate team in providing high-quality medical support and ensuring a comfortable, caring environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient charting, documentation, and medical record management
  • Support residents with daily health assessments and basic medical procedures
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked and sanitized
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding medical information
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program
  • Proven experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, charting, and basic clinical procedures
