Full-Time About Us We are a growing outpatient medical practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new practice and play a key role in building efficient workflows and delivering an exceptional patient experience. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will support providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks while helping maintain efficient patient flow. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers during examinations and treatments Administer injections and vaccines in accordance with state regulations and certifications Perform EKGs and basic clinical testing as appropriate Handle patient calls, prescription refill requests, and follow-up communication Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and care coordination Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms Accurately document patient information in the EMR system Assist front desk with check-in and check-out Support daily clinic operations and patient flow
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience Experience in an outpatient medical setting Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification Pediatrics and/or primary care experience Experience administering vaccines and injections Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience Schedule Monday-Friday, Day Shift No evenings One Saturday per month with shortened clinic hours Flexible scheduling opportunities may become available as the practice grows Compensation & Benefits $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications Additional compensation consideration for certifications and expanded clinical skills Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Professional and supportive work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement as the practice expands Why Join Our Team?
