Certified Medical Assistant

We are a busy, fast-paced small Gynecological (GYN) office seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. We are looking for a professional who can anticipate the physician's needs, ensure smooth patient flow, and deliver compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities Patient Intake:

Room patients, verify personal information, and accurately record medical histories and vitals in a timely, efficient manner.

Clinical Assistance:

Assist the physician with in-office GYN procedures and examinations.

EMR/EHR Charting:

Document patient encounters, visits, and procedures using the eClinicalWorks (ECW) system while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

Pharmacy & Authorizations:

Process prescription refills and handle medication prior authorizations.

Workflow Management:

Facilitate daily physician productivity by managing patient flow, keeping exam rooms clean and stocked, and sterilizing equipment between visits.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical office or clinical setting. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience is highly preferred. Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working in a high-demand, fast-paced environment. Excellent bedside manners and interpersonal communication skills
