OVERVIEW

Very busy Interventional Pain and Neurology clinic is seeking one (1) Full Time

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

to join our office located near the World Golf Village in Saint Augustine AND our Palm Coast location. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently in our fast paced clinic. The MA is responsible for assisting the physician/nurse practitioner with direct and indirect patient care during clinic and procedure days.

Negotiable based on experience

In addition to personal interview, may require a separate working/on-the-job interview as well Responsibilities and Duties

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Working Pain Management in a procedure room environment, taking medical histories including vital signs, explaining reason for visit and obtaining consent, requesting reports needed for patient care, responding to patient calls and questions, assisting physician in procedures utilizing sterile technique, cleaning and sanitizing all clinic rooms at the end of the day, restocking clinic rooms with necessary supplies, helping to prepare schedules for the next day, verifying all ordered results are in patient charts, and assisting with a variety of multi-tasking skills in a medical setting.

HOURS:

FULL TIME

(FT) Tuesday through Friday

• 5:30 pm (two days Palm Coast, two days St.

Augustine) Qualifications and Skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Medical assistant experience in a procedure room setting
• Must be capable of front and back office skills
• Must have experience with EHR (Electronic Health Record)
• Must have superior organizational, written, communication, and customer service skills
• Pain/Neurology experience a plus
• Must be a team player

EDUCATION

• High School or equivalent
• Graduation from accredited medical assistant school-Medical assistant
• NCCT certification preferred Benefits Benefits offered (PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability) for FULL time

$41,600.00
