Part-Time Medical Assistant•
Gynecology PracticeLocation:
St.Augustine, FLPosition Type:
Part-TimeWe are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing gynecology practice. This position supports one Board-Certified Gynecologist and one Nurse Practitioner in providing exceptional women's healthcare.Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Document patient history and update medical records
- Assist providers with gynecologic examinations and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Perform phlebotomy, injections, and laboratory specimen collection as needed
- Coordinate patient referrals, authorizations, and follow-up care
- Provide patient education and support
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and practice policies
- Assist with scheduling and other clinical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Previous experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health strongly preferred
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks (eCW) required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required based on experience
- Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations is a plus
