We are a well-established, fast-paced dermatology practice seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant with experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Proficiency with EMA (Electronic Medical Assistant) by Modernizing Medicine is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Assist providers with general dermatology visits and cosmetic procedures (e.g., FBSE, surgeries, Botox, fillers and lasers) Scribe in real time using EMA during patient encounters Prepare exam and procedure rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness Educate patients on post-procedure care, skincare products, and treatment plans Handle specimen collection and accurate documentation Support inventory management for medical and cosmetic supplies Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care at all times Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in dermatology (medical & cosmetic) Proficiency with EMA (Modernizing Medicine) required or strongly preferred Experience assisting with cosmetic treatments and patient education MOHS surgery experience is a plus Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Familiarity with biologic medications, prior authorization requirements, specialty pharmacy coordination and ongoing patient management is a strong advantage Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience A supportive, team-focused work environment Opportunities to grow within both medical and cosmetic dermatology A comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and other supportive employee benefits.
