We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting Dermatologists in a clinic setting. This is a full-time position that requires knowledge of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist medical staff with patient examinations and procedures
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Ensure proper documentation of patient information and medical history
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical facility
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Uphold strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology or related healthcare role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
