Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting Dermatologists in a clinic setting. This is a full-time position that requires knowledge of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
  • Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist medical staff with patient examinations and procedures
  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient information and medical history
  • Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical facility
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Uphold strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology or related healthcare role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional patient service
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
