Medical Assistant - Memory Care Department Grand Villa of Sarasota is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Certified Medical Assistant to join our Memory Care Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional committed to providing high-quality care in a supportive and enriching environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments and routine medical procedures Monitor and record vital signs and patient health information accurately Support residents with daily activities and personal care as needed Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols Maintain detailed and confidential medical records Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents Educate residents and their families about health management and wellness programs
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid and current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license Prior experience working with seniors, preferably in memory care or related settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation standards Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work full-time hours, including some weekends or evenings if required At Grand Villa of Sarasota, we foster a culture of respect, compassion, and continuous growth.
