Job Description

Pediatric Medical Assistant (Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire)
Location:
Sarasota, FL Pay:
$19-$21 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Full-Time (No nights or weekends) Make an Impact in Pediatric Care Join a patient-focused pediatric medical practice where your experience working with children and families will make a direct impact every day. We are seeking a Medical Assistant with hands-on pediatric experience who is comfortable supporting providers in a fast-paced, child-focused environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential after successful completion of your assignment. What You'll Do Room pediatric patients and assist providers during exams Collect patient history and record vital signs (pediatric-specific considerations) Perform clinical tasks including injections, EKGs, PFTs, and screenings Assist with specimen collection and patient preparation Provide age-appropriate patient support and comfort during visits Document accurately in EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred) Educate parents and caregivers on care instructions and follow-up Support front office functions including check-in, check-out, scheduling, and phones Coordinate medical records, labs, referrals, and documentation Maintain organized, compliant, and patient-centered workflow What You'll Get Weekly pay (every Friday) Health insurance available while on assignment Full-time, stable schedule with no nights or weekends Opportunity for permanent hire after successful assignment Support from a locally owned healthcare staffing team with national resources What We're Looking For Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent training
Required:
