Job Overview The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting clinical operations by performing administrative and clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient care. This part-time, in-person position in Sebastian, FL, involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare providers, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities Collect co-pays and payments Schedule follow-up appointments Enter data in Practice Fusion EMR Scan and manage patient documents Work collaboratively with healthcare team Collect and record vital signs in EMR Communicate abnormal vitals and clinical changes promptly to providers Required Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and protocols Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferable
