Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and administrative support while ensuring a smooth workflow in a clinic environment. Bi-lingual preferred but not required. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Demonstrate ability to work with other members of the clinical team Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure accurate patient information Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient communications Prepare patients for diagnostic tests as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area Ensure compliance with medical terminology, ICD coding, and safety protocols Understand and assist in the referral process of patients to outside services, follow up on patient referrals Skills Proficiency in handling EMR systems for efficient documentation. Specifically knowledge of Tebra EMR a plus. Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices Strong patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication Capability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Join our team as a Medical Assistant where your skills will contribute significantly to the health and well-being of our patients.
