Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical/chiro Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our office staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as excellent patient service skills. The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various clinical tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of our chiropractic office. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment availability. Record patient histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Administer treatment as directed by physicians and monitor patients Provide patient education on treatment plans, therapies and follow-up care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic operations. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in doctor's office setting is preferred Previous experience in private office setting is advantageous. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
