This opportunity is ideal for a Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, administrative-heavy environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. This role focuses heavily on administrative and care coordination responsibilities, including prior authorizations, medication refills, scheduling, and managing a high-volume multiline phone system. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask efficiently while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Monday•Friday | 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Pay Rate:
$18.00•$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Review upcoming schedules and provide timely patient appointment reminders Verify and validate patient insurance coverage prior to appointments Complete patient check-in, including collecting copays and outstanding balances Ensure all patient consent forms and documentation are complete and up to date Maintain efficient patient flow and communicate delays professionally Manage a high-volume, multiline phone system with prompt call handling and follow-up Process prior authorizations for specialty-related services and procedures Handle medication refill requests per provider protocols Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits Provide administrative and clinical support to providers as needed Multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications Required:
Current BLS Certification Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in an administrative-heavy role with frequent phone interaction
Preferred:
