• _1+ year of high‑volume active draws (10+ sticks/day), confident with difficult veins and infant collections, and able to maintain a calm, steady demeanor._

• Responsibilities:

• The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for: + Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing + Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens + Referring specimens to outside laboratories + Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests + Performance of phlebotomy procedures + Performs other duties as assigned

• Experience:

• + Required - 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field

• Education:

• + Required High School or equivalent + Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience

• Credentials:

• + Driver's License
• Credential equivalent experience:
• + Preferred Phlebotomy
