0 Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Spanish CCMA Certification High school diploma or GED Working with children Full Job Description We are the Children's Lung, Asthma & Sleep Specialists and we are currently searching for a medical assistant who resides in Tampa or areas closed to Lakeland, FL. We are searching for highly motivated, multitasking, and team oriented individuals to come on board. The individual must be comfortable working with children. We prefer a fluent bilingual candidate proficient in both English and Spanish. This position is Full Time. Monday through Friday 8:15 AM through 5 PM with a 45 minute lunch break. This position does require to occasionally travel to Lakeland to provide coverage when needed.
Duties:
  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Requirements:
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or completion of a Medical Assistant program
