  • 5:00 PM No Nights | No Weekends Make an Impact in Patient Care We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a growing and supportive healthcare team in Tampa, Florida.
In this role, you will primarily support the Rheumatology department, assisting providers in delivering high-quality,passionate, and patient-centered care. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule and benefits starting on Day One. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Support Greet, room, and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and empathy Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical history in Epic EMR Assist providers during exams, treatments, and procedures Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified) Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection Maintain clean,anized, andpliant exam rooms and clinical equipment Administrative & Clinic Support Support scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out as needed Float between clinic locations across the Tampa area when assigned Ensurepliance with OSHA standards, clinical regulations, andanizational policies Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary care teams Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program Current Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA) Current CPR certification Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant Rheumatology experience preferred Epic EMR experience required Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Strongmunication, multitasking, andanizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment Compensation & Benefits $18
