Job Summary The Medical Assistant will cross train and be versed in working as a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant in each office will be providing CCM services including communication with the patient or other treating providers for care coordination, management of prescriptions, resources for patients, and education on increased access to care for chronically ill patients outside of normal practice hours. The Medical Assistant-Scribe primary responsibility is technical skills encompassing patient care and related tasks directed by a Doctor, APRN, Register Professional Nurse, or a Licensed Practical Nurse. The Medical Assistant-Office will perform routine functions of the front/back office including greeting patients, ensuring patient accounts are up-to-date, information is correct in the record, and patient charges are posted properly after the patient encounter. Role and Responsibilities Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height and record patient medical history in EMR Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality with patient health and personal data (following HIPAA Laws and Regulations) and with company proprietary information Manage online scheduling system and proficient in EMR Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies Know and maintain professional communication skills: verbal, written, and non-verbal communication

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum high school diploma or GED; completion of Medical Assistant Curriculum and/or college degree preferred.

Experience:
