Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong background in medical terminology, patient service, and administrative support, with experience in various medical settings such as dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient history Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient information Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests as needed Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly Ensure compliance with safety protocols and basic life support procedures during patient interactions Qualifications Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar position within a clinical environment Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding is essential Familiarity with EHR systems and their application in patient care management Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and support Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Basic life support certification is required; additional certifications related to specific specialties are a plus Join our team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients while advancing your career in the healthcare field.
