Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our client's healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers Assist with patient examinations and procedures Perform basic life support measures when necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment Assist in the collection and documentation of patient information, such as vital signs and medical history Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction

Requirements:

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Experience working in a hospital or medical facility preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively Basic life support certification required Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
