Medical Assistant (Pediatric & Wellness Focus) StarNest Health - Wesley Chapel, FL About Us StarNest Health is a modern, patient-centered healthcare clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care with a focus on pediatric and family wellness. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a family-friendly, pediatric-focused environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will play a critical role in clinical support, patient experience, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Assist providers during exams and treatments Perform basic clinical procedures (e.g., injections, specimen collection, EKG if applicable) Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and follow-ups Support front desk operations when needed (check-in/out, scheduling) Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred (not mandatory if experienced) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (pediatrics preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with EMR systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Preferred Experience Pediatric or family practice setting Preventive care or wellness-based clinics Experience working with infants and children What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Supportive and positive work environment Opportunity to grow with a modern healthcare brand Meaningful work impacting families and children Flexible scheduling options (if applicable) Work Location Wesley Chapel, FL Schedule Full-time / Part-time (specify based on your need) Day shifts (no nights, if applicable) How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
