We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing, patient-centered dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced medical setting. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Obtain and document medical histories and patient concerns Accurately enter clinical information into the electronic medical record Assist the physician with dermatologic procedures, including: Skin biopsies Incision and drainage procedures Electrodessication and curettage Wound care and suture removal Process prescription requests and electronic prescriptions Maintain clean, stocked, and organized examination rooms Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols Triage patient phone calls and communicate professionally with patients Complete laboratory and pathology requisitions Track pathology results and communicate findings to patients as directed Assist with administrative and front-office tasks when needed Support daily office operations to ensure efficient patient care Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care Interest in healthcare and Dermatology Ideal Candidates Pre-PA, pre-med, pre-NP, or pre-nursing students seeking direct patient care experience Recent college graduates with bachelor's pursuing healthcare careers Experienced medical assistants interested in dermatology We look forward to welcoming a dedicated new team member who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow professionally in a rewarding dermatology setting.
