This role supports both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced environment, delivering direct patient care within certification scope while ensuring accurate documentation and operational efficiency. The position requires bilingual English/Spanish skills and strong collaboration with physicians and nursing staff. This is a Monday-Friday onsite role with potential extension or full-time conversion (not guaranteed). Medical Assistant 2 Responsibilities Serve as first point of contact for patients Perform back-office clinical duties including vital signs, injections, diagnostic testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Prepare, clean, and sterilize equipment and exam rooms Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to support patient care Complete moderately complex administrative and operational tasks Prioritize assignments while maintaining quality and compliance standards Follow department policies with sound judgment and minimal supervision Medical Assistants 2 Requirements 1-3 years of back-office Medical Assistant experience in direct patient care Active State Medical Assistant certification (RMA or CMA) Current CPR certification Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting Basic computer proficiency, including MS Outlook Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Must complete TB screening (patient-facing role) Medical Assistant 2 Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma Hands-on phlebotomy experience Experience with EMR systems and HEDIS Active certification from AAMA, NHA, AMT, ARMA, or
