Part-Time Medical Assistant Sookdeo Family Medicine 14101 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34787 Sookdeo Family Medicine is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our family practice team. This is a great opportunity for medical students who are looking to gain hands-on clinical experience, build patient care hours, and learn in a family medicine setting with some of the best providers. Schedule Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Responsibilities Front Office Duties Patient check-in and check-out Collect copays and outstanding balances Chart preparation and organization Back Office Duties Obtain vital signs Complete patient history intakes Prepare charts for provider visits Perform EKGs Administer injections Perform urinalysis testing, covid, strep and flu. Assist provider with patient care as needed Additional Duties Inventory management Cleaning and stocking exam rooms Maintaining a clean, organized office environment Other administrative and clinical duties as assigned Qualifications Medical Assistant experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Great opportunity for pre-med, nursing, PA, or healthcare students Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Comfortable working with patients in a fast-paced office setting Sookdeo Family Medicine Providing compassionate, personalized healthcare for Central Florida.
