Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical support and administrative duties within office setting. This role requires excellent patient service skills, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and procedures. The Medical Assistant/Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting healthcare providers with clinical tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in/check-out procedures to ensure positive patient interactions. Obtain and record, patient histories, and other relevant information accurately using EHR systems. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as specimen collection, medication administration, and basic life support procedures. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and insurance documentation to facilitate seamless clinic operations. Support physicians with procedures including, ICD coding documentation, and anatomy-related assessments. Maintain detailed records of patient care activities, update medical records, and assist with billing or coding as needed. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, relevant to diverse specialties of dermatology. Proven experience supporting outpatient care Proficiency with EHR systems for documentation of patient encounters and medical records management. Ability to perform clinical procedures such as biopsy, excisions, intake assessments, medication administration Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in
MIPS, ICD

Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
