This energized role offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support in pain management. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient service, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, room patients and assist with in-office procedures. Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Prepare patients for examinations by documenting medical history and current complaints Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, specimen collection, and basic X-ray procedures Support intake processes by updating patient information and ensuring proper documentation. Manage patient flow efficiently in outpatient clinics Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration techniques Familiarity with EHR systems; preferably Eclinical Works Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required; additional certifications such as X-ray or OR experience are a plus Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle intake, vital signs collection, and patient education effectively Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or medical-surgical units This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health while advancing your career within a supportive healthcare community. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
