Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your energy and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide hands-on support in an outpatient, assisting healthcare providers with clinical procedures, patient intake, and documentation. Your expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will ensure seamless patient experiences while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse medical specialties including dermatology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospital medicine within a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, perform patient intake, and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary equipment and supplies. Support clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care and basic life support (BLS) protocols. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting and updating medical histories. Conduct routine laboratory tests or specimen collection when required, ensuring proper handling and labeling. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout the visit. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Experience in Phlebotomy required. Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding to accurately document patient information. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to support various clinical procedures effectively. Ability to perform vital signs collection, medication administration support, and basic diagnostic tasks confidently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care and teamwork in high-pressure environments.
