The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service while managing both medical and administrative tasks in a outpatient environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and administrative support in holistic medicine. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with the intake process, ensuring all necessary information is collected, including vital signs. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records using the EHR, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards. Process patient information, including chief complaint and brief medical history, to support healthcare providers. Assist with correspondence and documentation for insurance purposes. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient care. Provide basic life support when necessary and assist in medication administration as directed by medical staff. Support outpatient services by managing referrals and follow-up appointments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and detox medspa area while adhering to health regulations. Skills Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in functional or holistic/alternative medicine and/or gynecology or family medicine preferred. Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management. Strong understanding of intake procedures, vital signs monitoring, and skilled in phlebotomy, processing samples and/or IV administration. Experience in outpatient settings is required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. Ability to collaborate within a team while maintaining professionalism.
