Medical Assistant

Job Summary Medical Professionals is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Float) to support clinicians across multiple clinic locations in Cobb, Gwinnett, and East Atlanta Village. This role provides both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient setting, including patient prep, lab work, counseling support, and clinical procedure assistance. The Medical Assistant plays a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and compliance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Prepare exam rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup Obtain and document patient vitals including height, weight, and blood pressure Assist with patient intake, medical history review, and completion of required clinical forms Provide patient support and education, including counseling assistance and procedure explanations Perform and document basic lab tests such as urine pregnancy tests, hemoglobin, and HIV rapid tests Support clinicians during exams and procedures, including assisting with sterile technique when required Maintain lab areas, supplies, and ensure proper documentation of results and logs Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols in all clinical areas Minimum Qualifications Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program English language proficiency (required) Ability to perform basic clinical support duties in a healthcare setting Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of healthcare experience Experience in women's health, family planning, reproductive health, or surgical settings Experience with surgical abortion care (highly preferred) Spanish language skills (preferred) Strong experience with patient education and clinical support in sensitive care environments

Pay:

$22.00•$25.00 per hour

Paige Primary Pay:

$22.00•$25.00 per hour
