428 Winn Ct, Decatur, GA 30030 Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pediatric Clinical Assistant ( Spanish & English Speaking) to join our team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about pediatric healthcare and eager to develop their clinical skills in a dynamic outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will support physicians and nursing staff by performing essential clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in outpatient pediatric settings. Take and record accurate vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and managing intake processes efficiently. Administer medications and injections following established protocols and maintain proper documentation. Support clinical operations by performing basic diagnostic tasks such as X-ray imaging or specimen collection when required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, adhering to infection control standards. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and ensuring a positive experience for families. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Proven experience in pediatrics , hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration practices. Experience working with EHR systems and medical-surgical procedures in outpatient environments. Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols. Strong communication skills with the ability to support diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients. Basic life support (BLS) certification must be current. Prior experience in GRITS and Children Vaccination.
