Medical Assistant (Bilingual)

Job Description Seeking an attentive and personable team player to join our practice as a Medical Assistant. Applicants should have a proficient knowledge of medical terminology and anatomical locations and terminology. This is a fast paced position with an emphasis on multi-tasking and attention to detail along with being flexible. This is a great opportunity for aspiring recent graduates interested in advancing their career in the medical field. Preference given to pre-MD, pre-PA, nursing, and pre-PT students. The primary work locations are our Norcross office , but flexibility on travel to other Peachtree Spine clinics increases negotiability. Must be able to fulfill the following duties: Assist the Medical Doctor in the exam room with every visit Document the EMR with the visit details, physical exam, diagnosis codes, and MD orders Relay patient instructions to check-out and to the patient and/or family Assist with setting up tests and procedures Manage the MD's schedule by working hand and hand with the Front Desk members and Call Center Assist the MD with editing and pasting the medical transcription from our dictation service Answer emails and phone calls as needed Communicate with management on any issues or errors when needed Qualifications/Skills Needed Team Player Able to multi-task and concentrate under time constraints Fast learner with computer based software systems Able to take direction and help from other team members, management, and departments Strong medical terminology Personable with patients Efficient and thorough with documentation and listening Related keywords: medical assistant, healthcare
