Medical Assistant Diabetes and Wound Care Centers of America (DWCCA) Columbus, Georgia Part Time and Full Time Positions AvailableDWCCA is an independent private practice on the main campus of St. Francis-Emory Hospital, delivering integrated care across diabetes, metabolic health, advanced wound care, and medical weight loss. We are hiring experienced Medical Assistants for both part time and full time arrangements, with a clear pathway from part time to full time based on performance and clinic volume growth. About the Role Support patient encounters across all DWCCA service lines in a fast paced environment averaging three to four patients per hour. Duties include clinical intake, documentation, venipuncture, EKGs, injections under provider order, and procedural support, along with prior authorizations, refills, and phone coverage. Requirements Minimum five years of private practice experience as a Medical Assistant with competency in diabetes, metabolic health, and wound care. Current CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent certification. BLS at time of hire. eClinicalWorks experience strongly preferred. Conversational Spanish a plus. Schedule and Compensation Monday through Friday during clinic hours. No weekends, evenings, or on call. Competitive hourly rate based on experience, plus a DWCCA contribution toward individual health coverage through an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement.
