Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to perform back office duties and assist in office procedures. Candidate certification required with at least one year experience working as a medical assistant in a medical facility. Bilingual is a PLUS! Candidate must possess the following skills and traits to be considered for this position: Must has a positive attitude and demeanor, putting focus entirely on providing our patients with the best possible experience at our practice. Must have strong people skills Must be willing to work in multiple areas of the clinic, Must be a team player Must be motivated and goal oriented Must have strong EMR skills Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Must be proficient in assisting with patient care Must be Familiar with Sterile Technique Must have excellent hygiene, including hand hygiene Must have good phone skills Must be proficient in sending electronic prescriptions as well as calling them into the pharmacy Must be proficient with giving test results to the patient Willing to travel to multiple locations Willing to assist in marketing events or market the area

Responsibilities and Duties:

(included but not limited to) Manage Inventory Order supplies Stock rooms at all times Assist Provider's in procedures Sclerotherapy Radiofrequency Ablation VenaSeal Varithena Data entry EMR/ Scribe Clean and Turnover rooms in a timely manor Perform sterile technique Handle sharps appropriately according to OSHA regulations Room Patients Obtain vitals: Manual BP Temperature Weight Height Pulse Provide wound care management Assist front office with phones and patient concerns, have the ability to cross train to help when needed Provide excellent patient care Answer patient questions about venous disease Phone triage Prescription prior authorization
