Job Description

Georgia Vascular & Interventional, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant on a part-time basis for an outpatient Vascular and Interventional practice located in Griffin, GA. The candidate must be committed to providing high quality patient care with exceptional customer service skills. Part-time hours will be Monday -Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. There will be no call and no weekends required. This posting has the potential to turn in to a full-time position. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Essential Duties:
Assist with administrative duties including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, pre-certing, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Assist the physician in seeing patients for routine clinic visits and follow up appointments by interviewing and recording patients' medical information to include vital signs and medical history. Responsible for assisting in monitoring patients after procedures. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be friendly, have an outgoing personality, and be able to get along with all staff members. Candidate must be reliable and able to handle a high stress and busy work environment.
Education and Training:
Certified Medical Assistant:
1 year preferred Medical office experience is required BLS preferred General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems. Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes preferred.
