Pandya Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for our Alpharetta location or someone with a minimum of 2 years experience as a MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures Administer medications and injections as directed Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., urinalysis) Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests Maintain infection control and sterilize equipment Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.) Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to
Providers Required Skills:
Knowledge of medical terminology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Basic clinical and laboratory skills Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Medical Assistant Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Benefit Eligibility - After 90 day waiting period Health insurance Dental and Vision plans Supplemental insurance plans 401K match plan with up to 4% by
