Medical Assistant

Overview Multi-physician office is seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team. The office schedule is Monday-Thursday from 8 AM-5 PM, with occasional Friday coverage as needed for staff support. Full-time work hours are a minimum of 32 hours, up to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care while maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities Include Escorting and preparing patients for examination rooms Assisting physicians with in-office examinations and procedures Maintaining accurate EMR documentation and processing prescriptions in a timely manner Cleaning, sterilizing, and breaking down examination/procedure equipment Proper disposal of biohazard materials Restocking and maintaining clinical inventory Coordinating and notifying patients regarding diagnostic results and future surgical procedures as needed Complying with HIPPA regulations Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Certified Dermatology Tech (CDT) certification is required once hired and we offer on-site training. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a detailed comprehensive background check.
