Job Description

Job Summary LivWell Health is a fast-growing, provider-led practice in LaGrange offering primary care, medical weight management, IV hydration, and aesthetics. We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to be a key part of the patient experience — the person who makes each visit feel organized, personal, and genuinely caring.

If you take pride in clean clinical work, enjoy variety in your day, and want to grow with a practice that's investing in personable, high-quality care, we'd love to meet you. Duties Room patients efficiently and professionally — gather a basic history of present illness (HPI), record accurate vital signs, and prepare patients and rooms for the provider. Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by accurately documenting patient information, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and treatment details. Administer medications via oral, intramuscular (IM), and subcutaneous (SubQ) routes under the on-site supervision of the provider, following all verification and documentation standards. Perform venipuncture for lab draws, and properly label and process specimens. Answer and return patient phone calls in a timely manner. Support medical administrative functions like scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and processing paperwork to streamline patient flow.

Skills Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient record management. Help maintain a clean, stocked, and compliant clinical environment (OSHA, HIPAA, infection control). Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations. Support our weight management, IV hydration, and aesthetics services as needed
