$18.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) About Lovely OBGYN Lovely OBGYN is a growing women's healthcare practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to women throughout every stage of life. We are seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) who is passionate about women's health and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Position Summary The Bilingual Medical Assistant will support our providers in delivering exceptional OB/GYN care while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, organized, and comfortable performing both clinical and administrative duties. ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medications, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist physicians and providers during OB/GYN exams and minor procedures Administer injections and medications as directed by providers Collect laboratory specimens and perform CLIA-waived testing Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain exam rooms Stock and organize medical supplies and equipment Provide patient education regarding prenatal care, wellness visits, contraception, and preventive health services Document patient information accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Administrative Duties Schedule appointments, referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up visits Verify patient information and assist with patient intake Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally Coordinate communication between providers, patients, pharmacies, and specialists Assist with front office responsibilities as needed QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic Bilingual in English and Spanish Strong computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) OB/GYN, Women's Health, Family Medicine, or Primary Care experience Experience with phlebotomy and administering injections Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols What We Offer Supportive and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow within a women's health practice Meaningful work that positively impacts patients and families Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Competitive compensation based on experience Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate and patient-centered Dependable and punctual Professional in appearance and communication Comfortable working with diverse patient populations Passionate about women's health and wellness
